In my last class reflection I discuss the future of technology and education. For me personally, this is an issue of equity. I find myself asking the question: will we ever get to a place where learning is individualized to fit the unique needs of every student so that their learning experience benefits them? While I do strongly believe that online learning is not for elementary through high school education, but can be implemented in undergrad programs. In my reflection I wrote about how I think online learning is great for graduate level learning because it gets to the core of a course faster and at the pace of the student. This model really individualizes content and provides the student a lot of flexibility and autonomy. While I personally enjoy online learning as graduate courses, I did experience tension for wanting physical interactions with my teacher, classmates, and content.
